Kinetrol’s 180° actuator is manufactured by adding a 2:1 riser linkage to the output shaft of proven 90° vane actuators.

Factory-fitted, direct mount linkage units are available to fit 02, 03, 05, 07, 09, 12, 14 and 16 actuators, providing a single unit without mounting kits or brackets. The unique geometry of the linkage provides constant 2:1 increment so that the output torque remains constant throughout the actuator’s travel.

The linkage’s all-steel mechanism uses rotary contacts to minimize friction losses and wear and maximize life. The coupling is housed in a rugged, fully sealed, die-cast alloy housing that is lubricated for life. External surfaces are protected by a corrosion resistant epoxy stove enamel coating. Standard adjustable end stops on the 90-degree actuator can be used to adjust the angle of travel. The other end of the 90 degree actuator allows direct attachment of all Kinetrol modular accessories.
